A graduate of Ryerson University’s Interior Design program, David's combination of creativity, technical expertise, careful attention to detail, and professionalism have made him a leader in the interior design community. His extensive experience in commercial design and stellar record of quality projects have garnered DH Designs an impressive client list that includes Air Canada, Accenture and SAP. Additionally, his time as Interiors Studio Director at Gustavson Wylie Architects has given him the opportunity to design interiors for prestigious clients such as lululemon athletica, HSBC Bank, Hemmera Envirotech & JMR Law.
Over the past 25 years David has served on the boards of the IDIBC, IDC, IIDA & CIDQ. After completing two terms on the Chicago based IIDA as VP of Professional Development, David served as the inaugural President of IDC after restructuring. He also served on the executive board of the International Federation of Interior Designers/Architects (IFI) as well as maintaining volunteer positions with IDC & CIDQ Most recently he completed a term on the executive of CIDQ serving as President in 2016. His contributions have been recognized by being made a fellow of both IIDA & IDIBC and his contribution to the design community has also included teaching Interior Design students at Kwantlen University.
