David's combination of creativity, technical expertise, careful attention to detail, and professionalism have made him a leader in the interior design community. His extensive experience in commercial design and stellar record of quality projects have garnered DH Designs an impressive client list that includes Air Canada, The City of Richmond and the Royal Canadian Mounted Police.
Recently, David was featured in an interview for a segment of the television program 'D' about Air Canada's Maple Leaf lounges. The program is shown in Quebec on TV5 and on Air Canada flights. A clip of the interview can be viewd by selecting this image:
Since his graduation from Ryerson Polytechnic University in 1988, David has enjoyed a distinguished career in Ontario and British Columbia. His continuous involvement and contribution to his profession have brought him recognition across Canada. After serving for more than 12 years on the boards of the Interior Designers Institute of British Columbia , the Interior Designers of Canada, and the Washington DC based National Council for Interior Design Qualification , David now actively serves on the board of directors of the Chicago based International Interior Design Association as the Vice President of Professional Development. He is the recent recipient of the IDIBC Award of Distinction for his extensive contribution & participation. His contribution to the design community also includes teaching Interior Design students at Kwantlen University College.
